Vox Pops on one track
My question was: What did you do for Halloween?
As this was my first attempt at recording people's voices and working on the editing programme Adobe Audition I am very impressed with the outcome. Even though most of my Vox pops were done outside there is a lot of wind in the microphone which over powers some of the speaking in the track. I would change many things in the track and when recording people's answers standing with my back to the wind so you would not hear it as much in the microphone. It was a difficult question to ask people as most people either didn't do anything for Halloween or don't celebrate it. I only added in people's answers that done something for Halloween no matter what the quality because it will make the track more interesting. Throughout the track the volume differs between people's answers. I need to work on this much more so it is smooth also you can hear on one vox pop where I cut some of the word out so it jumps and the background sound should also be smooth and link together which I have attempted to do. I now know what I need to improve on to make my next interview track even better.
